Our CoolPlus range with the green backing retains less heat in direct sunlight. The CoolPlus technology reduces surface heat through the use of a polymer material that reflects the sunlight and heat, preventing the grass from absorbing heat.

Additionally, our CoolPlus technology has a porous structure, which allows air to circulate underneath the grass and helps dissipate heat. The use of our reflective materials, green backing and the porous structure helps to reduce the heat of the artificial turf, making it a more comfortable and better option for our hot climates here in Australia.

Our products were submitted to third-party analytical chemistry lab and tested for PFAS, finding that the concentrations were below detectable levels, making it a safer choice for our environment.

We have formulated this green backing in our products to distinguish our CoolPlus product from the rest. We have completed a number of tests on our product and it retains 30% less heat then other products tested against. The results showed us the black backing holds more heat in the sun, making our green backing more efficient in summer.

It is worth highlighting the fact that our artificial grass is not flammable even when exposed to heat or open flames. Fire retardant artificial grass is enhanced by adding FR additives and has undergone rigorous fire retardancy tests, making it a safer choice for both household and commercial use in fire danger areas.
